Mind over Matter – Spirit over Mind
Dan Jensen b.7.21 1949

I consider myself goal oriented and enjoy the pursuit of goals – using them as a form of motivation for all levels of life. I am mostly self-motivated and use any intrinsic or extrinsic tools to stay motivated. I enjoy and am passionate about the miracle that is the HUMAN POTENTIAL – where getting to the edge (of what you think) is your limit (spiritually, physically, emotionally etc.) becomes’ new territory.

Endurance events (especially) provide the arena for self-discovery and almost always reveal your strengths and weaknesses.

I do like the aspects of endurance events that puts’ everybody in the same boat. When you are out there with everyone – there is an appreciation, admiration, and respect and a silent theme of knowing that you don’t have to explain why you are doing this crazy thing.

I look forward to the training aspects of getting ready for an event. The events are just an excuse to get out there and enjoy the fulfillment of being in this miracle - we call – the human body.

One step at a time
